Wednesday 10th October 2018, 1pm-4pm, Peterhead
Would you like to be able to identify more of our local birds? This FREE event will help you to identify a variety of bird species that can be seen on the coast at Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. It will be led by Geoff Wilkinson and Glenn Roberts of the North East Scotland Biological Records Centre (NESBReC) with some walking along uneven terrain required. Starting at the River Ugie estuary, we hope to see a variety of waders and ducks and then differentiate between various gulls and other seabirds as we walk along the coastline at Buchanhaven. This event is suitable for complete beginners and anyone wishing to improve their bird identification skills. Any children must be accompanied by an adult and no dogs, thank you.
