FUNGI IDENTIFICATION at RSPB Loch of Strathbeg on Wednesday 6 September 2017, 10:30am-3:30pm

Would you like to know more about the fungi that are present in our local area? Our FREE event will help you understand more about the range of species to be found and give you an introduction to their identification. The event will be led by Liz Holden who has extensive knowledge of the fungi of Scotland. It is aimed at beginners and those wishing to improve their identification and understanding of fungi. The whole day will be spent outside in various habitats around RSPB’s Loch of Strathbeg reserve near Fraserburgh, mainly using existing paths and boardwalks but also including some uneven terrain. Children must be accompanied by an adult and no dogs please.
