Leaf-miner Identification at Forest of Birse on 17 September 2019

Tuesday 17 September 2019, 10:30am-3pm

Forest of Birse, Finzean

Have you ever wondered about leaf-mining species in our native broad-leaved trees? This FREE event will help you to look for leaf mines and to identify the species that have created them. It will be led by local expert, Mark Young, and all of the session will be spent outside with some limited walking off the paths along uneven terrain. This event is suitable for both beginners and those wishing to improve their leaf-miner identification skills.

Any children must be accompanied by an adult and no dogs, thank you.
